BROKER'S 45 HOUR QUALIFYING COURSE

COURSE DETAILS

To become a Real Estate Broker, long standing requirements are educational and experience. 10% of the course (4.5 hours) may be missed without makeup classes. Any additional time missed must be made up in future courses at the time the missed topic matter is being covered. A Broker licensing candidate may take the course final examination only upon satisfactory completion of the attendance requirements.

An exam score of 70% must be achieved in order to successfully complete this course. One makeup exam is available in the event the examinee is not successful in their first attempt. Successful completion of prerequisites, attendance and course exam requirements will grant the student a satisfactory certificate of course completion.

Exposure to this course curriculum prepares the licensing candidate to sit for the NYS Real Estate Broker examination. The State exam is no longer given on a walk-in basis. Pre-registration is now required through accessny.
