Important Notice for Appraisers!
NEW USPAP Requirement
Effective
January 1, 2003!
Existing Appraisers/Appraiser Assistants All appraisers and/or appraiser assistants licensed or certified before January 1, 2003 must have successfully completed the newly prescribed 7-Hour National USPAP course when applying for license renewal on or after January 1, 2004. Subsequently, this 7-Hour National USPAP course will be required to be taken every two year cycle and may be included as part of the 28 hours continuing education requirement for appraisers.
New Appraiser Candidates All new appraiser applicants who apply for licensure after January 1, 2003 must successfully complete the newly prescribed 15-Hour National USPAP course as part of their qualifying course requirements
