His services include locating & establishing property boundaries, providing topography, soil type, vegetation and wildlife habitat reports. He appraises current standing timber and predicts future capital timber value. His evaluations include determining highest and best use of subject properties for sellers, buyers and land speculators. He also speaks to the valuation of wind and mineral rights, leases and contracts.

Mike Tyx; comes to the Home Inspection field from a well-rounded background with special interests in plumbing, heating and cooling. Mike completed his formal education in Construction Technology and Civil Technology, and accumulated extensive work experience at American Axle and as an HSBC Towers Building Engineer. Soon after completing his qualifying coursework, he was invited to join the Cusack Center's teaching staff and in the interest of full disclosure, Mike currently teaches both qualifying and continuing education courses for Home Inspectors. 

2-4 Family Properties The NY Residential Appraisal Qualifying Series continues sessions with RE-1: 20-Hour program. May also be taken by Appraisers & Assessors for CE Requirments. 

 

Course cost: $299.00, includes text & materials. Meets Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, 3 sessions & exam.  The National USPAP Update course is a 7-Hour requirement for existing appraisers. May also be taken by Assessors to satisfy the ethics requirements.Course cost: $219.00 includes text materials.

 

Meets May 8, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, no exam. Course prerequisite: Existing appraisers only.
