Housing Patterns & Fair Housing Laws, 3.75-Hour NYS approved Real Estate & Appraisal Continuing Education. Meets mandatory Fair Housing requirement for all Real Estate Licensees every license renewal period. Discussion will include protected classes, compliance with Fair Housing laws at the federal, state and local levels of government. Local investigative case studies and fines will be examined. Agency & the Real Estate Transaction
This applied agency class will review how the performance of agency duties can affect an agent’s rights to compensation in a real estate transaction and how the same can be jeopardized when disregarded or not implemented with care.
Actual case study discussion will include the consequences of failure to disclose, buyer offers through other parties and navigating competitive multiple offer situations.
