(G-1) General Series Introduction to Income Property Valuation

COURSE DESCRIPTION
This 30 hour course is part of the 180 hour requirement for NYS Certified General Appraiser, with a final examination. The scope of this course will include a review of the appraisal process and related mathematical procedures, compound interest and discounting, income capitalization, income estimation, forecasting cash flows and reversions, financing and equity analysis, yield rates and overall capitalization rates. This course is also approved for 30 hours of NYS Appraisal Continuing Education, with a final examination.

PREREQUISITES

  • Introduction To Real Estate Appraisal(R-1)
  • Valuation, Principles and Procedures(R-2)
  • Basic Use Of The HP-12C Calculator
